Till We Have Built Jerusalem

01 May 7:30pm
Organized by: Jewish Arts Collaborative
Venue: Hebrew College
Newton Centre
160 Herrick Road

Celebrate Israel’s 69th birthday with Israeli food, music, and conversation.

Join author Adina Hoffman (co-author of Sacred Trash, story of the Cairo Geniza) and Israeli architect Rafi Segal as they discuss the people behind the buildings that shape Jerusalem, and the recurring themes of loss, exile, and belonging.

Come before the conversation at 7pm for a pre-show Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israel Independence Day) celebratory reception with Israeli borekas, halva, and music by Israeli singer/song writer Florie Namir.
