Welcome to the Boston Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city.
Jay Rogers has been making boxes and sculptural containers for over 30 years. His current work is about the psychological realm of architecture, inspired by the work of artists such as Giovanni-Baptista Piranesi and M.C.Escher. The sculptures are containers, with hidden drawers and secret compartments and range in theme, size and material.Join us for the Opening Reception of this exhibition on Thursday, October 26 from 6:00-9:00pm at 100 Pier Four Blvd. Meet Jay Rogers, peer into the sculptural forms; and take in the Artist Awards exhibition in its final two days.
