Welcome to the Boston Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city.
The Boston Architectural College invites the community to join us for Et cetera, a free public lecture by Molly Hunker and Greg Corso, co-founders of SPORTS, on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 6 pm in Cascieri Hall.
SPORTS will present Et cetera, a lecture about recent inquiries into the role of ambiguity, novelty, and discovery in the built environment. Lately, SPORTS has been preoccupied with the elasticity of the built environment. How can the world of objects and spaces alternate between the functional and ordinary on one hand and the playful and poetic on the other? In this talk SPORTS will discuss their work's ambition to flicker between these states and in doing so embrace ideas of ambiguity, novelty, and discovery.
