Allies and Morrison and Dulwich Picture Gallery present Into the Wild, an exhibition of work made by Southwark students who engaged with the art of Canadian painter David Milne.
2018 marks our third year in partnership with Dulwich Picture Gallery's Drawing in Schools programme. For this year's exhibition, students from Kingsdale Foundation School and Harris Academy Bermondsey drew inspiration from the exhibition David Milne: Modern Painting, the wild landscape of Sydenham Hill Wood and the lessons of artist Jo Lewis. The result is a collection of their own works which explore the formation of artistic identity and the encounter of nature within the urban environment.
Into the Wild is open weekdays 18th May - 10th June, 10am-5pm at Allies and Morrison, 85 Southwark Street, London SE1 0HX.
