Giant Dolls’ House Installation Lecture Evening - Home Stories

A lecture and preview evening: Home Stories, takes place on Tuesday June 19th, to raise money and awareness for the Housing and Homelessness Charity Shelter. Through four short lectures the ideas of home, identity and community are addressed. Rhea Newman from the Housing and Homelessness Charity Shelter will speak about her work as a policy officer within the charity. Story teller Josh Gaillemin from The Whole Story, will narrate about the Giant Dolls' House Installation on show and the use of stories in the home. Tim Gledstone from Squire and Partners will examine the home or house in architectural practice and present the practice's ZubaBoxes. Catja de Haas will present the Giant Dolls' House Project and its goals and will look at the home in miniature: the dolls' house.  For bios of the speakers see the website
