The Data and Life of Great Future Cities

15 September - 26 January
Organized by: Roca
Venue: , Roca London Gallery
Station Court
Townmead Road

Free admission.

Inspired by the book 'The Death and Life of Great American Cities' by pioneering urbanist, activist and writer, Jane Jacobs, this exhibition highlights the potential for data mining to enhance our understanding of urban spaces and how they're used. The exhibition also puts the practice of city planning, and how we've sought to understand city life, into a historical context. Research by the MIT Senseable City Lab will be shown alongside other projects, exploring how data could be the key to better urban design.
