City Showoff

27 September 19:00 - 21:30
Organized by: The City Centre
Venue: , The City Centre
80 Basinghall Street
City of London

In collaboration with comedian Steve Cross, The City Centre is hosting another City Showoff event, this time focusing on the theme of 'security'. Join us for an evening of comedy and storytelling that will make you think about how architecture keeps you safe from harm and how security has helped shape cities for thousands of years.

Line up: Sarah Jones, Ed Jefferson, Susie Steed, Ruth Miller, Terence Eden and Paul McGarrity.

You will also get the chance to learn about the new buildings popping up in The City as one of our knowledgeable team will be giving an introductory talk around our official architectural model.

Steve Cross might be the UK's nerdiest comedian. He specialises in making clever people funny and runs Science Showoff, where anyone can try anything about science on stage. Steve also runs the Books Showoff and has performed at a variety of events and venues including the Science Museum, The Edinburgh Science Festival, Green Man, the Natural History Museum and the Barbican.
