Building Tour: Sketch and 66 Portland Place, The History of the RIBA Headquarters.
Join the RIBA West London Architects Group for a unique tour, recounting the history of RIBA's headquater buidlings.
Dr Neal Shasore, Architectural Historian and expert on the history of RIBA's headquarters, 66 Portland Place, will lead the tour, begining at the former RIBA headquaters at 9 Conduit St, now home to Sketch, one of the most fablously quirky resturant interiors in London.
We'll then visit the current, Grade II* Art Deco headquarters at 66 Portland Place home to the RIBA since 1934 to learn about the building's history.
