Organized by: The Architecture Foundation
Venue: , Cambridge
E2 9PA

Take a tour of some of the new residential developments being masterminded by the University of Cambridge, including North West Cambridge, Cowan Court and Postgraduate housing in Churchill College.

Project architects from some of the practices who have worked across the sites will lead the tour across the day, these include Maccreanor Lavington, Witherford Watson Mann, Cottrell & Vermeulen and 6a.

The tour will take in highlights around the new residential district of Eddington in North West Cambridge, which has been developed by The University of Cambridge to provide affordable housing for its staff and post-graduate students. The site includes award winning buildings such as the Stirling nominated Storey's Fields by MUMA, alongside residential blocks by a range of design-led practices including Alison Brooks, Witherford Watson Mann, Maccreanor Lavington, MOLE architects and Mecanoo.

Following this, the tour will move to Churchill College to look at Cottrell & Vermeulen's recently completed Postgraduate housing nestled amongst the Arts and Crafts buildings along Storey's Way, and finally finish at 6a's multi-award winning Cowan Court.

The day will start in Bethnal Green, where the group will take a coach at 9am to Cambridge and will return back to Bethnal Green at roughly 6pm.
