Welcome to the London Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city, brought to you by New London Architecture.
Imprint is a publishing fair exploring the city through print.
Taking place in November 2019 at The Building Centre, London, the fair will be the first of its kind in the U.K., showcasing a broad and international selection of contemporary publishing. From photobooks to zines, pamphlets to comics, Imprint aims to explore the diverse ways in which people are using printed matter to think and talk about cities.
A new space for art, architecture and publishing, Imprint wants to encourage greater collaboration between and within these fields, as well as increase their visibility for a general public. The fair will take place alongside a public programme of workshops, performances, talks and screenings.
Participants range from academia to activism, architecture to visual arts, with the fair’s strong international outlook confirmed by representation from Greece, Japan, the Netherlands and the United States.
Overall, there will be twenty three participants showcasing their work at Imprint. You can find out more about them and the programming in the next page.
The opening night will take place on Friday 29 November with the main fair taking place on Saturday 30 November.
