Welcome to the London Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city, brought to you by New London Architecture.
“What is it about experiencing the city on the move? Is it the expectation that there’ll be something unmissable around the corner or after the next cut?“
Tapio Snellman is a filmmaker who specialises in architectural and urban subjects and who has collaborated with architects including Herzog and de Meuron, Zaha Hadid, Rem Koolhaas and David Adjaye. His work has been exhibited at venues including the V&A, the Tate Modern in London, the Guggenheim Museum and MoMA in New York and frequently as part of the Architecture Biennale in Venice.
Tapio Snellman will discuss how cinematography can help us understand ‘the built’ in a conversation intercut with samples of his own work.
The talk will take place at the offices of Jonathan Tuckey Design, 58 Milson Road at 7:30pm on Wednesday 15th January 2020.
This event is free but places are limited. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
