Welcome to the London Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city, brought to you by New London Architecture.
Join us for the launch of The Landscapists: Redefining Landscape Relations - the latest issue of Architectural Design (AD) - guest-edited by Ed Wall.
The Landscapists critically investigates landscapes made and remade through interrelations between people and the worlds around them – from geographers investigating the lives of urban wastelands to landscape architects addressing future cities at a time of climate crisis, and from migrants navigating border systems to artists studying urban neighbourhoods.
The launch will include short conversations with several contributors.
The Landscapists features articles by: Christina Leigh Geros, Neil Brenner and Nikos Katsikis, Rania Ghosn and El Hadi Jazairy, Tiago Torres-Campos, Luis Callejas and Charlotte Hansson, Ed Wall, Harry Bix, Toya Peal, Neil Spiller, and Tim Waterman, James Corner, Kate Orff, Gareth Doherty and Pol Fité Matamoros, Matthew Gandy, Teddy Cruz and Fonna Forman, and Pierre Bélanger (Pierre Bélanger, Ghazal Jafari, Pablo Escudero, Hernán Bianchi-Benguria, Tiffany Kaewen Dang, Alexander S. Arroyo). Cover image by Richard Mosse.
The event is free to attend - but you need to register for a ticket.
The event is generously supported by Wiley and University of Greenwich.
