AA Summer Sessions

04 July - 12 July
Organized by: Architectural Association
36 Bedford Square

An intense experimental laboratory that focuses on pressing contemporary issues, while attempting to work both outside and against established pedagogical formats, aims to restage the legendary experiment of the summer sessions SS72 that marked a new chapter for the AA in the 70s. Bringing together theoreticians, historians, curators AA Summer Sessions become an intense extracurricular thinking-tank tasked to workshop a series of pressing briefs introduced by the Summer Session leaders.

The course is open to current and prospective, advanced students that are either already heading towards the completion of their basic studies, students working towards a masters degree or recent graduates interested in participating in an intense intellectual experiment taking place during the intense summer programs of the AA, while becoming an immersive environment that brings together people from different backgrounds generating an international network of creative encounters and friendships.

A number of fully funded scholarships are available. For further information, please follow the 'More Details' link below.

We hope to welcome you at the AA this Summer!
