About BFA

Black Females in Architecture (BFA) was founded by Akua Danso, Alisha Morenike Fisher, Neba  Sere and Selasi Setufe in June 2018.   BFA is a network and social enterprise providing access, creative opportunities and  mentorships for black and black mixed heritage women in the built environment, within  architecture, planning, construction, interior design, landscape architecture, engineering and  urbanism. As of this year, BFA has already built a community of over 250 members and  counting. BFA aims to thrive nationally & globally and increase our representation within our industries,  and in so doing, widely improving diversity.
