Join Black Females in Architecture Co-founder Neba Sere on Friday morning 6th March at  Fora - Brick Lane to celebrate International Women’s Day over breakfast.

About BFA

Black Females in Architecture (BFA) was founded by Akua Danso, Alisha Morenike Fisher, Neba  Sere and Selasi Setufe in June 2018.   BFA is a network and social enterprise providing access, creative opportunities and  mentorships for black and black mixed heritage women in the built environment, within  architecture, planning, construction, interior design, landscape architecture, engineering and  urbanism. As of this year, BFA has already built a community of over 250 members and  counting. BFA aims to thrive nationally & globally and increase our representation within our industries,  and in so doing, widely improving diversity.

Who is Neba Sere?

Neba Sere? is an architectural designer at Penoyre  and Prasad. She has worked for the award-winning  Studio Weave and community development  organisation Roman Road Trust. About the event

You will hear about incredible black women who have made wonderful contributions to the  built environment in the form of architecture and design, research, activism and more! We will  shine a light on historically significant black female architects as well as women currently  studying, working and practicing and within architecture.

You’ll also get the chance to visit Fora - Brick Lane, a new location of London’s  premium co-working space designed by Piercy & Co just off Brick Lane
