An evening of talks, poetry and live music exploring Blackness, gender and hypervisibility   American artist Kehinde Wiley's exhibition The Yellow Wallpaper exclusively features portraits of Black women that the artist met on the streets of Dalston, East London. Inspired by Charlotte Perkins Gilman's renowned feminist text, the exhibition plays upon the "sense of powerlessness that happens in a person who's not seen, respected and whose sense of autonomy is in question".

Join us for an evening of talks, poetry and live music that explore themes around Blackness, gender and hypervisibility alongside an exclusive preview of the exhibition.
