Changing Transport and Public Realm in the City
Join Oliver Sells QC, Chairman of the Streets and Walkways Committee at the City of London Corporation, and Bruce McVean, Acting Assistant Director, City Transportation, City of London Corporation as they discuss “City Streets - the Transportation response to support the City’s recovery from Covid -19”.
Oliver and Bruce will share with us the proposed series of innovative interventions to the City core streets and highways as the Corporation looks to take a leading role in transforming the traditional traffic and pedestrian hierarchies in the City in the post Lockdown world where car and road freight levels have recovered to more than 70% of pre-covid flows and where public transport capacity is only 15% of what we had previously.
Chaired by Roy McGowan of Momentum Transport consultancy.
