Original clocks, paintings and decorative panels have survived for nearly a century in this lovely municipal building. Learn about the history and ambitions of the combined boroughs of Islington and Finsbury in the twentieth century.

Islington Town Hall was designed in stages by the impressive social housing architect E.C.P. Monson. It  incorporated an Assembly  Hall, in the fashion of interwar town halls, and it remains a remarkably attractive landmark on Upper Street, a venue for weddings, council meetings and a thriving entertainment centre.

Crouch End Walks also present tours of Hornsey Town Hall. £7.
