Islington Town Hall was designed in stages by the impressive social housing architect E.C.P. Monson. It incorporated an Assembly Hall, in the fashion of interwar town halls, and it remains a remarkably attractive landmark on Upper Street, a venue for weddings, council meetings and a thriving entertainment centre. Crouch End Walks also present tours of Hornsey Town Hall.
