Hornsey Town Hall Architectural Tours Take an expert 50 minute guided tour of Hornsey Town Hall with  Crouch End Walks.

Built in 1935 by the New Zealand architect Reginald Uren, it still has all its original features. Illustrating the municipal power of the 1930s London borough, it has an assembly hall and matching gas and electricity showrooms in a unique town square feature. Hardly used for 15 years it's now opening its doors to the public with a community project, Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre. This is a fantastic chance to see the hidden treasures of 1930s modernism, and discover the history of Hornsey's iconic HQ and Assembly Room.
