Welcome to the London Architecture Diary, your essential guide to architecture exhibitions and events taking place across the city, brought to you by New London Architecture.
Paul Catherall’s latest exhibition at Eames Fine Art explores his fascination for the sublime concrete, giants of Brutalism and Modernism.
Recognised for his distinctive bold colour, sharp line and monumental shapes; Paul is a master of linocut printmaking. His original visions of iconic London buildings and views of London are familiar as his work is regularly used for London Transport posters, greeting cards and book covers.
Alongside rare editions in the exhibition such as Balfron Tower and Southbank, this show features many new prints including works based on Barbican and Trellick Tower; mapping Paul’s history of capturing these Modernist and Brutalist giants from across the London skyline.
