Justice by Design: Transitioning to Borough-Based Facilities

Join us for a viewing of the short documentary “Justice by Design” about the move from Rikers Island to a borough-bassed jails as part of New York City’s effort to reform its criminal justice system and heavily reduce incarceration. A panel discussion will follow featuring leaders in the City’s plans to reform the justice system and professionals who have worked with other cities to update their justice facilites.
