Revolutionizing Retail: Design for Apple, Blue Bottle & Everlane

06 February 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Organized by: Bohlin Cywinski Jackson
Venue: A/D/O
29 Norman Avenue

Celebrate Gathering, our latest monograph and one that focuses exclusively on our institutional, civic, and commercial work. Gathering exemplifies how architecture has the power to bring people together with intention, allowing them to engage in new ways, generate ideas, share their passions, and build communities.

On February 6, we’re taking over Brooklyn’s A/D/O – a place to creative exchange – for a conversation about transformational retail experiences. Our work revolutionizing the retail experience began with Apple in the early 2000s, a collection of which is showcased within Gathering. Imbuing the built environment with a brand’s essence is part architecture, part alchemy. Evoking the spirit of a brand through architecture elevates the store, develops community, builds loyalty, and touches our humanity.

How does this happen? What does it tell us about the future of retail? What is it about these brands that are different? Join Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Blue Bottle, Everlane, and Alexandra Lange for a lively discussion about the revolution of retail experience.
