Join Zulmilena Then and Farrah Lafontant of Preserving East New York (PENY), a group recently formed to protect the architectural treasures of the Brooklyn neighborhood, on an exploration of the historic and cultural gems that make this community a vibrant and special place. East New York, together with nearby Cypress Hills, are the first communities to go under the City's major rezoning plan, which may threaten both of the neighborhood's historic buildings that PENY, with the endorsement of the Historic Districts Council, believes are worth saving. Cost: $30 / $20 Members.
